Carlton Weathers

Preacher

Pastor
Grace Fellowship Church
Anniston, AL

Carlton Weathers is one of the pastors at Grace Fellowship in Anniston, Alabama. He has been a pastor at the church since 2003 when the church was planted out of a small Bible study that he was leading in his home. Over the past 20 years the Lord has been very kind to Grace Fellowship as they have seen many people saved by Christ, lives transformed through discipleship, missionaries sent to the unreached, and an abundance of ministry accomplished in the name of Jesus.

Carlton states that one of the greatest honors of his life is having been to be married to his high school sweetheart for the past 25 years. He and Aimee are blessed to have 5 children (Hannah Grace (21), Noah (19), Lily (17), Hope (13), and Lottie Moon (10)). He enjoys being outdoors, CrossFit, reading, and spending time with others. He says that if he could only do one thing in ministry, then it would be to study and preach God's Word, saying that this has been the biggest tool in the hands of God to transform me more and more into the image of Christ.

The Bible makes it explicitly clear that disciples of Christ are radically changed. Jesus says one must be "born again" and that each disciple must deny themself, take up their cross, and follow him. Paul refers to the Christian as a "new creation”. From the Beatitudes to the fruits of the Spirit, the New Testament is clear that coming to Christ completely transforms an individual.

But what does it look like when this transformation takes place? Is it just about the things I believe, or just about changing the things I do and say?

Join us for One Life Weekend 2024 where we will consider Biblical Conversion and the new actions and attitudes that result from union with Christ.
